EOS Hackathon San Francisco 2018

Web3devs is attending the 2018 #EOShackathon in San Francisco. We are just one of the teams competing for prize money and possible investment. This event is one of 5 global hackathon events this year. All building up to a Grand Finale event just before the end of the year.

Blockchain technology is a solution looking for problems to solve. An event like esohackathon expedites the the brainstorming and connection making that is needed to build a community. Depending on who you ask, there is a blockchain platform and/or a crypto project that is perfect for your need.
The weekend competition gives the teams a theme, a time constraint, and access to mentors. A team might be a group of people that knew each other before the event or they might have connected just moments before becoming a team.
There are attendees from all over the world in San Francisco for this event. Past events were held in London, Sydney, and Hong Kong. Before the in person events, a virtual hackathon was help “from Africa” before the in person events began. The Grand Finale will bring attendees from all over the world to Cape Town. All we have to do is win one of the top three prizes and our travel to the Grand Finale is covered 🙂
Blockchain is a decentralized technology. Our web3devs team is also decentralized when it comes to location.
