Web3devs WyoHackathon 2019

Web3devs team wins again at Wyohackathon

WyoHackathon 2019

September 19-22, 2019

Memorial Fieldhouse Laramie, WY 82070

This years hackathon was part of the Wyoming Blockchain Stampede.

Aaron Anderson, Brian Wentzloff, and David Bruno from web3devs once again competed in the second annual WyoHackathon in Laramie, Wyoming last weekend. In just about 36 hours, the team created a plugin for Burner Wallet to allow people to play daily fantasy sports on the blockchain and receive an NFT if they win.

Burner Wallet is a project created by Austin Griffith that allows people to make cryptocurrency transactions and interact with smart contracts using familiar web 2.0 technology — no Metamask needed. Recently, the project was updated to support extensibility in the form of code plugins.

The web3devs team placed third in the Best for Wyoming category, and picked up a Consensys bounty, as well.
